ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The QIMF serves as a meaningful platform for cultural and musical interaction, uniting young musicians from diverse backgrounds through the shared language of classical music. By encouraging musical excellence through healthy competition, the festival fosters growth, discipline, and artistry. More than just a contest, QIMF is a vibrant space for musical expression, performance, and mutual sharing—where participants inspire one another and celebrate the rich traditions and evolving artistry of classical music.
WHO CAN APPLY
The festival is open to participants of all nationalities and it’s divided into different categories and age group.
A. Solo - Piano, Woodwinds, and Strings Solo
B. Chamber - Piano Duo, Piano Trio, Strings Ensemble, Winds Ensemble
REGISTRATION DEADLINE
11 October 2025
Applications will only be approved after the applicant has submitted the form & video for the screening round together with the necessary documents. Age for each applicant will be calculated by 11 October 2025.
Registration fee is SGD$180 per entry.
ADJUDICATING PANEL
A panel of judges will evaluate the festival, the final selections of awards and winners will be based on the juries’ decisions.

HOW TO APPLY

To ensure that your application will be properly processed, please prepare the following material when you are ready to fill in the form:
1. Scanned IDs (or Passport)
2. Youtube link for the first (screening) round
3. Credit and/or Visa card to proceed with the payment at the end of the application. Please contact us if you are unable to pay online.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The registration fee is neither refundable nor transferable.
2. Participants and supporters of participants shall not communicate with or seek influence over the adjudicating panel.
3. Video recording must show participants’
face and hands clearly at all times.
4. Professional recording is not mandatory, but the submitted video recording must be of a reasonable video and audio quality with minimal background noisd.
5. Only unedited video recordings will be accepted. Videos that are, in any way, edited or re-engineered, will be unacceptable.
6. The Quatre Music Organization reserves the right to cancel the event or any categories should it be necessary such as due to insufficient participants or any unforeseen circumstances. As such, the registration fee will be refunded.
7. The participants are NOT allowed to take videos and/or photos during the festival and the Gala Concert, Quatre Music Organization has hired a professional videographer to document the performances. More information about the professional videos will be announced through email.
8. The participants give consent to allow the organizer to record all or part of the performance for broadcast and promotional purposes freely.
9. The participants will grant the organizer the exclusive rights to the recorded materials and pictures.
10. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
11. The decisions of the Adjudicating Panel are final. Thus, no discussion or correspondence will be entertained.
12. Quatre Music Organization reserves the right to amend the Information, Rules, Terms and Conditions of the Festival without prior notice. It is the participant’s responsibility to check the website regularly for updates and announcements.
PRIZES
1. Every solo and chamber participant will receive an award (with Trophy) and comment sheet.
2. Gala Concert Winner (awarded to exceptional Platinum Award Recipients).
3. Platinum, Gold, & Silver Award (awarded to participants based on the juries’ decisions).
4. All participants are required to be present during the Gala Concert for Prize Giving Ceremony.
