
QMIF 2025 FAQ
ENTRY & SEATING
1. Do parents need tickets to enter the Gala?
Yes, all audience members require a ticket, except the performer.
2. Does the performer need a ticket?
No. Each performer has 1 complimentary seat for one parent.
3. Can siblings enter without a ticket?
No. Siblings also require tickets as seating is limited.
4. Can we reserve or save seats?
No. Please be seated together when entering the hall.
5. Is seating free or assigned?
Seating is free seating, first-come-first-served.
6. What time do doors open?
Doors open 30 minutes before the Gala begins.
7. Can we enter late if the performance has already started?
Yes, but please enter only during applause to avoid disruption.
8. Is photography or videography allowed inside the hall?
No photography and videography is allowed in the hall.
9. Is there a dress code for the audience?
Smart casual is encouraged.

GALA PERFORMANCE
10. How were the Gala performers selected?
Gala performers were invited based on jury recommendation for musicality and stage presence.
11. Is the Gala performance judged?
No. The Gala is a celebratory showcase, not a competition round.
12. How long is the Gala concert?
Approximately 1.5–2 hours, including prize presentation.
13. Can we leave early before prize presentation?
We kindly request all participants to stay until the end to support their peers.

PRIZE PRESENTATION (RESULTS)
14. When does prize presentation start?
Prize presentation happens immediately after the Gala.
15. In what order are categories announced?
Categories are announced by age group, from youngest to oldest.
16. Are results based on score or ranking?
Results are based on performance standard, not comparison between participants.
17. Why did my child receive Silver / Gold / Platinum?
Awards reflect the performance level achieved.
18. Can we request to see the raw scores?
Scores are reflected in the jury comment sheet, which you will receive after the Gala.
19. Can the judges explain the results to parents?
No. Judges do not discuss results individually. Written feedback is provided instead.
20. Will winners be announced online later?
Yes. Results will be posted on our website and Instagram (@quatremusicorg).

TROPHIES & CERTIFICATES
21. Where are trophies collected?
Trophies are presented on stage during prize presentation.
22. Where do we collect certificates?
Certificates will be digital and sent via email within 14–30 days.
23. Where do we collect jury comment sheets?
Comment sheets can be collected backstage after the Gala.
24. My child received the wrong trophy. Can we change it?
Yes. Please approach the trophy table immediately after the Gala for verification and exchange.
25. There is a name error on the certificate — can we request an edit?
Yes. Please reply to the certificate email to request correction.
26. Can I collect on behalf of another participant?
Yes.
27. If my child is absent, how do we collect the trophy/certificate?
Trophies are not shipped. Please arrange collection on the Gala day.

PHOTOS & MEDIA
28. Where do we take photos?
At the photowall area outside the hall.
29. Is there a backdrop for photos?
Yes — there will be a photowall banner near the registration table and stage.
30. Where can I download performance recordings?
A download link will be emailed to the registered email address for those who purchased the recording.
31. Will there be group photos?
Yes. Group photos per category will be taken on stage immediately after trophies.

32. What time should performers or winners report?
Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the Gala start time.
33. Is there a warm-up room on Gala day?
No warm-up room is provided. Please warm up at home.
34. Can we enter backstage?
Backstage is restricted to performers and staff only.
35. Who do we approach if we have questions on the day?
Please approach any QMIF Committee member wearing a STAFF badge.
36. Where is the washroom?
Signage is available inside the hall.

40. We forgot to buy a ticket — can we purchase now?
Yes. Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite at the entrance.
41. Can we get a receipt for ticket purchase?
Yes. A receipt is sent automatically from Eventbrite to your email.
